TMHE challenges high school students during Designcamp Östergötland

For the fifth consecutive year, TMHE partners with other local companies in Östergötland to give high school students the challenge of their summer.

This year, the assignment was to imagine the future of truck navigation and to find a way to improve the interface of the screen of the TMHE ultra-stacker concept. Two weeks of intense product development with the user experience in focus.

- This is a quite conceptual assignment, just like our assignments previous years. We let them try for themselves without guiding too much or let them know how we would solve the problem, explains Anton Schindelar, UX design manager and tutor for Designcamp at TMHE.

The students visited TMHE for research, identified problems and needs, developed personas and designed strong concepts in an exceptionally short time period.

Designcamp is a non-profit organisation with the purpose of increasing interest and knowledge on design for better and more functional products and services. The students work through the whole design process from idea to product.
